"Palė Alė" is a place in the Kaunas Old Town, which was inspired by the  "Pale Ale" bar that used to exist during the interwar period from 1929 until 1933 in the Laisvės alėja.

The main highlight of "Palė Alė" is the unique menu of snacks and meals, created by professional national chefs. Here, guests of the bar can find pork or chicken schnitzel, pikeperch dish, herring tartar, buckwheat pancakes, even the interpretation of pork zraz, which was very popular in the interwar period.

Among the snacks there are cheese and meat sets from the best Lithuanian small farms, spicy smoked pig's ears and many other combinations of modern products prepared by professional chefs.

There are ten bar taps behind the "Palė Alė" bar. Eight of these taps are always prepared for small, well-regarded Lithuanian brewers products. You can also find close to half a hundred different, niche drinks of Lithuanian brewers in the refrigerators next to the bar.
