In 1927 Antanas Gedmantas was the captain of Lithuanian army, the adjuvant of Riflemen's Union Staff. During this period he lived in Kaunas and this was his house. The first floor was set up as a shop and the second floor had 4 rooms appartment for officer's family. This floor is equipped with a closed gallery, the skylights are decorated with the rays of the Sun, the building preserves many other authentic elements too.
