The ascetic, rectangular villa was one of the most interesting and modern structures of its kind in Kaunas to survive the interwar period. The house is unique for its minimalism, as propagated by Mies van der Rohe. Soon after the construction was completed in 1937, Kaunas City Council awarded the building as the residential house of the year. Year: 1934. Style: Modernism. Architect Vladimiras Kopylovas.
