Treat Yourself in New Kaunastic Spots

Are you dreaming of a piece of cake after a long day of sightseeing in Kaunas? Woke up late and missed your hotel breakfast? Like discovering new places and refreshing your Instagram feed? We have some great solutions for you! Here are three new locations in Kaunas that have already stolen the hearts of residents and guests. Enjoy!

Chaika Kaunas
M. Daukšos g. 27

There’s a tiny wooden house in central Vilnius, capital of Lithuania – this is where mother Chaika is located. People from all over the country love their fresh brews, natural teas and homemade vegan cakes. Two brave women from Kaunas, a cultural manager and a dancer, decided our city also needs its own Chaika. They found a sweet spot in M. Daukšos street, surrounded by local businesses, and, after a few months of hard work and some help from a talented interior design tandem SantaMonika, Chaika Kaunas was born. Very cosy, very instagrammable, very vegan. Thank you, girls!

Her Excellency. Specialty Coffee
K. Donelaičio g. 60

Fresh coffee is amazing. Paired with breakfast all day long, it’s magnificent. In other words, it’s kaunastic. Opened just a few weeks ago in the soon-to-be-finished Vienybės square, the coffee house by Vero Cafe has become the favourite of those working, studying or simply enjoying downtown Kaunas. Our favourite combo is sunshine, americano and avocado toast. What about you?

Cremiu Cake Studio
Vilniaus g. 48

It’s pink. It’s festive. It’s absolutely cute. The dessert studio can do the catering for your special day, or can dive into the sofa near the fireplace and enjoy a piece of cake – there are so many to choose from! – right here, right now. We love the studio’s decor skills – they brought new trends to Kaunas Old Town!
