The four best Euroleague teams of the 2022–2023 season – AS Monaco represented by Donatas Motiejūnas, Olympiacos Piraeus, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona coached by Šarūnas Jasikevičius – will compete for the best title.

While tickets for the games have already been sold out, an opportunity still remains to experience the basketball atmosphere at the official Euroleague FanZone. Located just a 13-minute walk from Žalgirio Arena at Unity Square (Vienybės aikštė), the Euroleague FanZone is the largest fan zone of the Euroleague. It will be open from 10:00 to 23:00 local time from Friday, May 19, to Sunday, May 21.

Another opportunity to witness the Euroleague Finals up close will be available for those fortunate enough to have purchased limited edition tickets for the special Euroleague Final Four (Tipoff) event. This event will take place before the official opening of the Euroleague FanZone and will feature the players who could potentially become the heroes of the future title-winning teams, including Monaco, Olympiacos, Real Madrid, and Barcelona. Tickets for this event are available through the provided link

Those who can’t make it to the event shouldn’t despair – the Final Four stars and Euroleague ambassadors will visit Vienybės aikštė on Saturday, where special events will take place all day and the evening will be crowned by free concerts by Lithuanian pop-rock artist Beatrich and DJ Jovani.

It will be a dynamic and engaging experience for basketball fans and participants.

Those who want to take away not only the best memories, but also special gifts, will be able to take part in a variety of activities and win prizes that are important to many fans, such as tickets to the Final Four, autographed basketballs, or tickets for a flight to Istanbul.

The Euroleague Fan Zone will also feature a Turkish Airlines VR Experience stand, where fans will be able to try virtual reality headsets and immerse themselves in a unique EuroLeague experience. There will also be a skate park, food and beverage areas, as well as a Share Box Trophy Picture so that fans can pose next to the EuroLeague trophy and have a photograph that they'll never forget.

After and in between basketball: what to do in Kaunas this weekend

There will be plenty of opportunities to watch live Euroleague broadcasts all over the city: Kaunas Akropolis is freeing up its Event Square for the most passionate basketball fans and invites them to watch the Euroleague together, and many bars and restaurants will also offer this opportunity.

However, those who want to take a break from basketball and take the opportunity to get to know Kaunas better will be able to do so on their own or with the help of a guide: on Saturday, for example, musical stops of the Kaunas BandFest 2023 festival will be held from Independence Square to the St. Peter and Paul Basilica, while the Kaunas Tourism Information Centre will be offering guided Kaunas sightseeing tours in English at 12 noon throughout the whole weekend (you can sign up for these here).
