As the numbers of coronavirus pandemics are not getting better in Lithuania, the provisional government has announced the nationwide quarantine will be extended until December 31, and some additional restrictions are to be applied.

During the lockdown, it is recommended not to leave your place of residence without necessity, and to limit your contacts to those between two households. People are encouraged to work from home unless it’s necessary to be in the office.

It was previously planned to allow museums and galleries to open from December 10; this idea has been postponed until further notice.

Restaurants, cafes and bars can only sell food and drinks to go or offer delivery.

Wearing a face mask is mandatory in all public indoor and outdoor spaces (including offices) in urban areas; it is not compulsory in nature when it’s assured there are no other people close to you.
