2018 in Žalgirio Arena: Gigs That Can’t Be Missed

Are you a ‘Tour de France person’ or a ‘Please Forgive Me’ person?

Opened in 2011, Žalgirio Arena already has a spectacular list of events in its biography, including shows by Red Hot Chili Peppers and Robbie Williams. Let’s see what’s planned for 2018 in the biggest and most up-to-date multifunctional arena in the Baltic region.

Of course, there are many more events, including live music gigs and sports games, to be announced, but there’s already enough in the calendar to start planning that special weekend in Kaunas. We’ve already announced the Division I Matches of Ice Hockey World Championship in April and the Euroleague games of Žalgiris are all listed here. For now, let’s focus on live music events in 2018 you can already purchase tickets for.

For the first time in history, the German pioneers of electronic music are finally coming to Lithuania. We’re more than pleased Kraftwerk chose Kaunas for their debut gig! Kraftwerk have brought their acclaimed 3D live show to countries far and wide over the last few years. The performances were released as a live album and 3D concert film in 2017. Of course, nothing can beat seeing and hearing their biggest hits live. With 3D glasses, too! Expect Autobahn, The Robots and Trans Europe Express.
